What does your everyday disc golf routine look like?
I have a Pro Discatcher in my backyard and whenever possible, I’m putting everyday. If weather and time allows, I spend some hours per week on the big sport field at the course to practice drives and approaches. From time to time I play some of the holes of the course which is build around the school buildings. I also spend time in the gym, especially during the colder period of the year.
Tell us about your favorite Kastaplast disc
Since last year, I play Kastaplast discs exclusively. K3 Reko for putting, Grym and Grym X in different weights for the drives, and Kaxe / Kaxe Z for the approaches (all in K1 plastic). I also got some discs in K2 plastic, which have a great touch.
What is your best disc golf memory?
There are many great memories in my long career. Next to my second European Champion title which I won in France, the trip to Icelandic Open some years ago, was outstanding. Specifically, because we started the first round 5 minuted before midnight. In addition, still many pictures of the PDGA World’s in Port Arthur, Texas circle in my head. Travelling to tournament is combined with a lot of great impressions and memories.
Name one of your odd talents, or, what you like to do when not throwing plastic
Alpine skiing is on the map every winter. Trying to use my season card of Adelboden as much as possible to spend hours on the slopes with carving. Love artwork and design in general, and doing some creative work from time to time, specifically logo-design.
