What does your everyday disc golf routine look like?
My practice routine is based on what kind of season we are in and do my best of the situation and what the weather gives for opportunities. Usually I do my practice at my local home course and try to use my practice time wisely, which means more throwing and practicing specific shots or situations, rather than playing occasionally rounds with friends.
Tell us about your favorite Kastaplast disc
It’s hard to say just one disc, but I’m really comfortable using Reko for many different kind of throws.
Reko is my new main putter and also a really good approach disc. I’m also very impressed how the Kaxe Z flies when pulling off a straight hyzerflip shot.
What is your best disc golf memory?
I’ve been touring a lot in Europe back in the days, it’s very hard to pick just one memory. I have done some really good rounds, beating many top names from USA, that felt pretty awesome. One of the greatest memory is also when I managed to pick up a 1069 rated round, pushing my personal record even higher. But maybe the strongest memories is from when I won the Swedish Team Championships back to back with my club teammates 2017 and 2018. The year 2018 was a nerve wracking history with only my match left to be decisive if we’re able to take the gold medal. With only two holes left I managed to birdie hole 17 to get one up before last hole. I told myself to commit to the drive and managed to go OB long, leaving myself with a 28’ putt for the win. Amazing feeling to take the championships with the amount of pressure involved.
Name one of your odd talents, or, what you like to do when not throwing plastic
Most of the spare time is spent with my family, so many other hobbies besides discgolf is abandoned for now. However I have a pretty decent career as a football referee in my record.
