What does your everyday disc golf routine look like?

I make sure that I putt and throw every day! In bad weather I do it indoors (I have a basket and a net set up in my basement). In good weather, weekends are for tournaments and some weeknights are leagues. On the other nights, I do fieldwork and play a course. What I work on is dependent on which practice bag I grab in the morning. My practice bags consist of just drivers, just fairways, just mids, just putt/approach and one bag with a mix. This ensures that I focus on all aspects of my game and forces me to be creative.

Tell us about your favorite Kastaplast disc

The most impact has been the Reko. I am a better player and putt with more confidence since I switched to this disc. The most cash is from my Berg. Ace pots and 50/50!!! The most loved is the Rask. I use this disc for so many different shots and am amazed by what it can do.

What is your best disc golf memory?

My first Glass Blown Open tournament. The courses are phenomenal and this is the best run tournament in the country. What makes it memorable though, is the atmosphere. I was touched by the outpouring of support and kindness by the people of Emporia. Everywhere we went the folks welcomed us, asked if we were there for the tournament and wished us good luck. Every bar you went in had disc golf on the televisions and the businesses provided special treats for the players. One restaurant even gave away a free sandwich to anyone who could make a 50′ putt! For one week, I got to see a world where disc golf was the #1 sport and it was awesome!

Name one of your odd talents, or, what you like to do when not throwing plastic

I am an amateur juggler. Balls, clubs, rings and even discs!
