What does your everyday disc golf routine look like?

I currently don’t play everyday but I am getting back into the swing of things as the 2019 season takes flight. When practicing my putts, I like to stand at a distance where I am making no less than 60% of them. You want to practice making them to build your confidence, and move further out as your skills progress.

Tell us about your favorite Kastaplast disc

This is a hard question to answer as I have only been throwing this Swedish goodness for a couple of months now. I really enjoy putting with my K3 Reko and almost all my upshots are with the K1 Berg. The Gote is very controllable and I am excited to learn it more this season.

What is your best disc golf memory?

I was at the 2017 Debary Open and was leading by one stroke heading into the final round. After a very rough start with an OB and several missed putts, I was now four strokes back of JohnE with only 10 holes left to play. I went on to shoot some of the best golf of my life and was now tied with JohnE going into Hole 18. The final hole was a little over 500’ and the basket sits under a tree on an elevated basket with thick bushes behind it. I chose to throw a roller and absolutely parked my drive only leaving myself a 10’ Eagle tap in for the win.

Name one of your odd talents, or, what you like to do when not throwing plastic

Fishing has always been a big part of my life and I love to go solo or with friends. I spent countless summer days as a child fishing at Safety Harbor Pier by myself or out on the boat with my Uncle Scott and Cousin Ryan. I just loved to fish as a kid, it was always on my mind, and I couldn’t wait to get back out on the water. Take me fishing!!
