What does your everyday disc golf routine look like?

My everyday disc golf routine consists of playing casual rounds with my friends and participating in the weekly rounds arranged by our local clubs. I also run DGshop.no, and I love giving advice and pointing new players in the right direction when it comes to choice of discs and equipment.

In the off season I focus more on my putting game than anything else, as I believe playing too much out in the cold would mess my technique up more than it would help. But, if the weather allows it, you will definitely see me training upshots and drives on open fields too.

Tell us about your favorite Kastaplast disc

I was looking to change my putter during the fall of 2017, so when Kastaplast came knocking, it was an easy choice to go for the Reko. The feel of the K3 plastic is just amazing, and the smooth bead gives me grip to putt with confidence. The K1 Stål has also been an amazing addition to my bag, so that might get the nod as my favorite disc.

What is your best disc golf memory?

I love playing tournaments, and getting to know more people involved with the sport, and picking one single memory would be impossible. Last season I TD’d my first tournament, won my first sanctioned event, played a tournament outside of Norway for the first time, and opened my own disc golf shop. My own achievements aside, the fondest memories always comes from playing rounds with new and old friends.

Name one of your odd talents, or, what you like to do when not throwing plastic

Oh, my… What to choose? I am talented at everything except bragging. No, most of my friend and family consider disc golf to be an odd talent, but I’ve spent a lot of time on music, playing piano, guitar and singing, so that might be a more fitting answer here.
